FlexSim 1.0.4 - ISO8583 Simulator (win-x64)

Portable build: nothing to install, no runtime to download.

The version is on the status bar inside the app and on the first line of the log,
so the build you are running can always be checked against this one.

Run it
------
Double-click FlexSim.exe.

Your data
---------
The bundled Assets/simulator.db is only a first-run template. On first launch the
app copies it to a folder of its own and never writes to the template again:

  Windows %LocalAppData%\FlexSim\simulator.db
  Linux ~/.local/share/FlexSim/simulator.db
  macOS ~/Library/Application Support/FlexSim/simulator.db

Installing a newer version
--------------------------
Extract it over the old one, or beside it - either way, keep your data folder. On
the first launch the app brings the spec profiles up to date with the ones this
build ships, and touches nothing else: test suites, test cases, card profiles,
keys, settings and the message log are all left exactly as they are.

A profile you edited yourself is never overwritten. It is kept as you left it and
the log says so. Any profile that is replaced is written to SpecBackups/ in the
data folder first, so nothing is lost.

Upgrading from FluxPay
----------------------
This app used to be called FluxPay. If a FluxPay data folder is there and a
FlexSim one is not, the first launch copies the old folder across - database,
cards, keys, test suites, settings and logs. It copies rather than moves, so the
FluxPay folder stays exactly as it was if you want to go back.

Keep the contents of this folder together - the app looks for Assets/simulator.db
next to the executable. The startup log line "Database: <path>" tells you which
file is live.

The template ships the spec profiles and nothing else - no card profiles, no
keys, no test suites, no message log. Add your own on first run.
